Example of Volunteer Sign Up Post and Event Post
Those who sign up will get a confirmation email:
The poster/sender can access the post dashboard (blue down arrow to top right corner of post) to view who signed up for each job. They can send a message to select volunteers if something changes without having to send to everyone.
The event post will look like this. People simply click the link to acknowledge they'll be attending.
Group members will receive an email notification and can RSVP directly from the email by clicking a button.
Here’s another example of a volunteer sign-up:
Your members might need you to explain how the action buttons work. Below is copy you can cut, paste and customize for your own volunteer sign up post:
I hope you are having a good week! We're looking for volunteers to bring food to our performance this Friday.
Below is the volunteer sign up. Click on one of the volunteer buttons to sign up. Your profile photo will show next to the button, indicating to everyone that you've signed up.
If you see two profile photos next to a button that needs two volunteers, that request has been met. Please select another choice.
If you need to make a change, click the button again to remove your profile photo and select another button.
If you'd like to mention what dish specifically you'll be bringing, please do so in the comments.
We're expecting about 70 people to attend.
You're welcome to volunteer for more than one request.
Event details to come. Thanks for your help!
