HEARD is a private, online tool that [SCHOOL NAME] uses for all of our communication.

This tool is simple to use and allows our community to easily connect with one another, share information (including happenings in your child's classroom), organize events, enlist volunteers and build community.

HEARD organizes communication by groups. We have a group for our school, for each grade, and for each classroom. All groups live on one platform, but each one is secure and can only be accessed by those invited.

The platform alerts you to activity happening in your groups by email. You can control how little or how often you want to receive these emails -- receiving emails for everything, just for priority news, or no emails at all.

HEARD works on any device and is viewable via your web browser and can be downloaded as an iOS app.

First 3 Things to Do After Joining HEARD

Please take these three steps when you join HEARD to make it easier to use for all:

  1. Complete your profile using your real full name and photo and add your family members. This makes it easy to identify everyone and associate families.

  2. Adjust the frequency you'd like to get emails notifying you of the activity happening in your groups: 

    • High: get emails for every post and comment; receive a daily or weekly digest

    • Normal: get emails for every post; receive a daily or weekly digest

    • Low: get emails for urgent posts; receive a daily or weekly digest

    • Mute: get no emails or digest; check app or platform for updates. 

  3. If you are an iPhone user, you can download a free app. Android users can book mark or add HEARD's sign-in page to their homescreen
